Odysseus has been apart of the Lindy Hop and Blues Dancing scene for over 20 years. Since 2016, he has been one of the many voices in the dance scene asking for a paradigm shift in the dance scene towards appreciation and understanding of Black American culture.
Along with being a Blues and Jazz dance enthusiast, he also tries to teach Blues and Lindy Hop dancing based on the values, understanding and practices of Black American Culture. He also gives lecture cultural talks where he tries to provide more nuance understanding of the culture.
