Copyright Policy and Procedure for Reporting Infringement
iLindy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and contributors to do the same.
If you are a copyright holder (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content hosted on iLindy infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal notice of infringement by following the process outlined below.
How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice
To file a complaint, please email us at info@ilindy.com and include the following information:
- Your contact information, including full name, email address, and mailing address.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.
- The exact URL or location of the content on iLindy that you claim is infringing.
- A good faith statement that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
- A sworn statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- A physical or electronic signature.
What Happens Next?
Once we receive a valid infringement notice:
- We will review the claim.
- We may temporarily disable or remove the allegedly infringing content.
- We will notify the content uploader (e.g., the instructor who submitted the class).
- The uploader will be given the opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the claim is incorrect.
How to Submit a Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- Your full contact details.
- A description of the removed content and where it appeared before it was taken down.
- A good faith statement that the content was removed in error.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate legal body.

iLindy reserves the right to remove content at its discretion and without prior notice if it believes content violates copyright law.
Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any music, images, or materials they use in their classes are properly licensed or in the public domain.
